The Lake Waikaremoana Great Walk, Te Urewera, is a popular 46km 3 or 4 day walk which is enjoyed by visitors from overseas as well as New Zealand families. The full length of the track is shown as well as the side-trip to Lake Waikareiti and other local walks. The lake is popular with fishermen so some fishing information is also shown on the map.
The Manuoha Circuit north of Lake Waikaremoana provides a three day tramp for independent trampers who want a more isolated experience. This fourth edition is at a larger scale and shows the boundaries of Te Urewera and adjacent reserves.
